About the roles

You will own the reliability, security, and scalability of Sana’s platform while leveling up developer velocity. You will move across cloud infrastructure, deployment, and tooling to unblock teams and make our platform robust, secure, and a joy to build on.

We are hiring for two closely related roles:

2. Senior Platform Engineer, Learn

1. Senior Platform Engineer, Agents

What you will do

• Drive reliability, security, and scalability across the platform that powers agents

• Architect and implement multi-tenant scale-out and observability solutions

• Lead incident response, performance profiling, and cost control initiatives

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, test infrastructure, and environment provisioning

• Work with engineers across the stack to remove friction and accelerate delivery

What success looks like

• The platform scales smoothly as usage grows, with strong observability and incident response

• Security and compliance are built in rather than added later

• Developer velocity is clearly higher, and teams ship faster with fewer blockers

• CI/CD, test infrastructure, and environments are reliable, discoverable, and well loved

• Cost controls and performance budgets are visible and actionable

• You are a go to partner for infrastructure, deployment, and tooling challenges

2. Senior Platform Engineer, Learn

What you will do

Same core responsibilities, with focus on the Learn platform and its workloads:

• Ensure reliability, security, and scalability for Learn services and data

• Design multi-tenant scale-out and observability tailored to learning use cases

• Lead incident, performance, and cost initiatives for Learn systems

• Own CI/CD and environments that support Learn product and backend teams

What success looks like

• Learn infrastructure scales with content, usage, and customers without impacting reliability

• Learn teams move faster thanks to stable environments and workflows

Our tech stack

We build on a simple modern stack optimized for both humans and AI:

• Backend: TypeScript, Node.js; Kotlin (primarily for Learn)

• Frontend: TypeScript, React, Tailwind

• Databases: Postgres, Redis

• Cloud infrastructure: GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform
