THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Senior Product Data Analyst who helps us see the product; not just measure it. You’ll dig into how people use our platform, where the value is created (or lost), and what actions will move the metrics that matter.
You’ll build reports, dashboards, and models — but always as a means to an end: to surface insights, explain causes, and shape smart product and business decisions.
Your job is to bridge the gap between raw data and product strategy, transforming numbers into clear narratives and recommendations.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Partner with product managers and designers to frame the right business questions and find data-driven answers.
- Build reports, charts, and dashboards that tell a story, not a spreadsheet export.
- Analyze conversion funnels, retention curves, engagement metrics, and monetization trends to uncover opportunities and bottlenecks.
- Run deep-dive investigations into product usage and business performance to explain why things happen, not just what happened.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure the right tracking and data structure to support meaningful insights.
- Support experimentation: from defining success metrics to interpreting outcomes and guiding next steps.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly, using data to influence decisions at every level
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- 4+ years of experience in product or business analytics within digital products or marketplaces.
- Proficiency in SQL and one modern BI tool (e.g., Metabase, Superset, Tableau, or similar).
- Strong understanding of product metrics, experimentation, and lifecycle analysis.
- You’re as comfortable querying a data warehouse as you are discussing conversion economics.
- You don’t just share charts: you tell the story behind them and suggest what to do next.
- Clear communicator who can make complex insights accessible and actionable.
- Fluent in English. Based in or open to relocating to Lisbon (hybrid setup: 4 days a week at HQ near Entrecampos).
