The Role:

Yubico is looking for a Senior Business Controller focused on Manufacturing and Supply Chain. This is a unique opportunity for a professional who enjoys the complexities of a physical supply chain (Inventory, Supply Chain control) and a high-growth tech environment (SaaS reporting, R&D capitalization).In the role you will act as a key business partner, mainly to Manufacturing and Supply Chain, as well as R&D and Engineering. You will manage inventory valuation, standard costing, COGS analysis, and tracking slow movers and scrap.Yubico is an international company based in Stockholm, working closely with international colleagues and thus travel to the US and internationally is a possibility.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Work as a key business partner, mainly to Manufacturing and Supply Chain, managing inventory valuation, standard costing, COGS analysis, and tracking slow movers and scrap
  • Business partnering to R&D, track and reviewing R&D initiatives and CAPEX, ensuring compliance and robust ROI
  • Lead the financial planning, quarterly forecast, annual budgets and ad-hoc analysis process for several functions
  • Develop and monitor financial and operational KPIs to drive improvement and ensure profitability
  • Support senior leadership with key insights to drive business decisions and prepare material for board meetings
  • Further develop adoption and setup of forecasting tools to enhance forecasting accuracy and budget process
  • When needed support the wider organization, including Sales and Marketing, with pricing, channel mix and GTM strategies
  • Support monthly close activities
  • This role reports directly to the Senior Director of FP&A

  • Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years in controlling, FP&A or commercial finance
  • Proven experience in business ideally within manufacturing and product
  • Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (NetSuite experience is considered to be an advantage)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong experience with Excel and G-Suite applications (Docs, Sheets and Slides)
  • Ability to manage multiple analytically challenging projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work setting
  • Positive working attitude, service-minded, problem solver and desire to learn
  • Team player with cross-cultural savviness and flexibility to work closely with colleagues globally
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or similar; or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in channel-driven, SaaS, cybersecurity or hardware/software businesses is a plus
