Job Description

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design and lead the implementation of stable and scalable test automation. The selected professional will be responsible for defining quality and coding standards, integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines to ensure technical excellence in every delivery.

Responsibilities

• Automation Leadership: Design, evolve, and implement the architecture of automation frameworks (Web UI and APIs) ensuring they are scalable and maintainable.
• CI/CD Integration: Integrate automation into pipelines, configuring reports, parallel execution, and quality gates for the team.
• QA Strategy: Analyze user scenarios and business rules to define and prioritize the automation roadmap (what to automate and why).
• Quality & Mentoring: Promote quality practices within the team through test code reviews, pair testing, and the definition of standards and best practices.
• Maintenance & Monitoring: Responsible for the execution and monitoring of automated suites, actively working on reducing flakiness and improving reliability.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work alongside development and business analysts, also collaborating with manual testing and defining acceptance criteria when necessary.

Requirements (MUST-HAVE)

• Experience: 5+ years of demonstrable experience in QA Automation.
• Modern Frameworks: Advanced experience with Playwright or similar tools for Web UI and APIs.
• Programming Languages: Solid experience with TypeScript / JavaScript (or willingness to learn them if you master other languages like Java or Python).
• Technical Fundamentals: Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns applied to QA (e.g., Page Object Model).
• DevOps & QA: Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, environment management, and test data.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience defining testing strategies in agile development environments.
• Language: Advanced English level is not required for this position.

Desirable

• Experience in test automation for mobile devices.
• Experience in performance testing using K6.
• Management of AI tools to assist in the creation and optimization of tests.
