What You’ll Be Doing:
- Designing, implementing, and managing automated test solutions across platforms, web applications, microservices, and native apps, ensuring comprehensive test coverage, including UI, API, and integration testing.
- Choosing, establishing and maintaining nonfunctional testing frameworks, tooling, and methodologies with system-wide responsibility.
- Owning the process for nonfunctional testing, coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring every deployment is thoroughly tested, risks are mitigated, and issues are reported promptly.
- Collaborating closely with development teams to analyze issues, improve test coverage, and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensuring automated tests run efficiently in the continuous integration environment, contributing to a fast, stable, and reliable release process.
- Taking ownership of test automation codebases, ensuring high standards, scalability, and maintainability.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least five years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on test automation and at least one nonfunctional testing domain (such as Performance, Stability or Robustness).
- Strong programming skills in functional or object-oriented languages.
- Deep understanding of QA processes and experience defining test strategies from scratch.
- Hands-on expertise with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Experience with using nonfunctional domain testing tools like K6, JMeter, Lighthouse, axe-core or Gremlin, or developing your own QA solutions to ensure the best experience of interacting with the system for an end-user.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing data-driven approaches for test execution monitoring, including setting up observability tools, tracking test behavior over time, and leveraging data insights for decision-making.
- Experience using Xray or similar test management tools.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- ISTQB certification.
- Experience with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development).
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the deployment process.
- Knowledge of Ruby or JavaScript.
- Experience in backend testing, including API, unit, and database testing, and in testing RESTful services using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
