Responsabilities

  • Design, write, and maintain test cases and test scenarios for complex applications;
  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as UFT, Selenium, Cucumber, and Java/VBScript;
  • Perform manual and automated testing on Front-End and Back-End systems;
  • Create, execute, and manage tests using OpenText ALM, UFT, UFT Mobile, and LoadRunner;
  • Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and test approaches for large-scale projects;
  • Ensure all testing activities align with client requirements, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria;
  • Execute database validation and data integrity checks using SQL;
  • Identify, document, and track defects, and verify fixes after integration;
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC;
  • Perform regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing;
  • Analyze test results and provide clear reporting and recommendations;
  • Ensure applications are tested from the end-user / customer perspective;
  • Qualifications

  • Technical Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with the OpenText testing suite, including:
  • ALM (Application Lifecycle Management)
  • UFT (Unified Functional Testing)
  • LoadRunner
  • Proven experience in automation and manual testing of web-based applications
  • Solid knowledge of:
  • Selenium, Cucumber, Maven
  • Java, JavaScript, VBScript
  • Git and GitHub Actions
  • Experience in API testing
  • Strong knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration
  • Experience working with defect tracking and ticketing systems
  • Testing & QA Expertise
  • Proven experience working on large-scale, complex projects
  • Ability to define testing strategy, test plans, and test processes
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and QA best practices
  • Experience with functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing
  • ISTQB certification (or equivalent) is a strong advantage
