Why your role matters

At i3D.net, we’re building our internal security foundation, and you’ll be right at the center of it. As our Senior Security Analyst, you’ll play a key role in securing our Microsoft environment (including Azure, Entra ID, and IAM), while also working on broader topics like incident response, tooling improvements, and DDOS investigations.

We’re currently moving to a new Microsoft tenant, which means you’ll help shape security from the ground up. This includes defining how access is managed, working closely with the Workspace Management (WSM) team, and supporting the rollout of new security controls and monitoring tools.

You’ll collaborate closely with our other Security Analyst to strengthen detection and response and help support our SOC capabilities. You report directly to the Security & Compliance Manager.

What you’ll be doing

• Secure our Microsoft environment: Help design and improve the security of our Azure tenant, Entra ID, and identity and access setup

• Work with the Workspace Management (WSM) team: Coordinate with the team that manages Intune and user creation, so access stays under control and risks are caught early

• Handle alerts and incidents: Investigate alerts, respond to breaches or policy violations, and make sure issues are resolved properly

• Own your part of the response: Take initiative where you can, and escalate only when it really needs to go higher

• Support our SOC setup: Help implement or improve tooling like SIEM and SOAR together with the other Security Analyst

• Suggest smarter ways of working: Share ideas to improve monitoring, detection, and automation in our day-to-day security work

• Lead DDOS investigations: Take the lead on identifying DDOS victims and helping them take action

• Stay ahead of threats: Track what’s happening in the security world and help us stay a step ahead

• Keep others informed: Make sure relevant updates get to the right people, and that security processes are well documented

• Collaborate with external partners: Join conversations with groups like CSIRT-DSP and handle outside security contacts when needed

• Work with internal teams: Help other departments improve how they handle security in their own systems and workflows

• Our SOC tooling has improved, and your input helped get it there

• DDOS investigations are running smoother, and external contacts know they can count on us

• You’ve made yourself known across the company as someone who just gets stuff done

Your profile

• Real-world security experience: You’ve worked 3 to 5 years in hands-on security roles, dealing with incidents and strengthening internal systems.

• Strong Microsoft environment knowledge: You’ve secured and managed Azure, Entra ID, Intune, and IAM in real environments.

• SOC/Blue Team savvy: You’ve been part of teams that monitor, detect, and respond to security threats in live environments.

• Hands-on and proactive mindset: You spot weak points or issues and take ownership without waiting to be told.

• Clear communicator under pressure: You write useful documentation and explain risks clearly to different teams.

• Reliable and flexible when needed: You’re available when something urgent comes up, even outside of regular hours.

• Netherlands-based and Hybrid-ready: You live in the Netherlands and are happy to join us on-site around two days a week.

Other good-to-haves

• Experience with SIEM and SOAR tooling: It’s a plus if you’ve worked with tools like Sentinel or Splunk and helped set them up or improve how they’re used.

• Certifications: AZ-500, AZ-400, or SC-900 help, but your real experience matters most.
