Position Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer for a full-stack role to join our Ecosystems Development team. In this role, you will play an important role in building market-defining products from the ground up, with a strong focus on product security, hardening, diagnosability, and supportability along with contributing to the development and maintenance of UI components as needed.

Our team has delivered impactful projects that support virtualization platforms for a range of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, DB2, SAP HANA) and non-relational/distributed databases (such as MongoDB, Cassandra, CockroachDB, and Yugabyte). You will also contribute to features enabling a scalable and robust compliance platform across diverse data sources, including Salesforce, SAP, and more. This involves ensuring that our software meets rigorous regulatory standards, supports data privacy, and adheres to industry requirements, empowering customers to manage sensitive data securely across multiple platforms.

Additionally, you will work on integrating Delphix with DevOps, SRE, and Integration tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, ServiceNow, and Kubernetes CSI Drivers.

Responsibilities:

Writing scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code

Translating product feature requirements into stable, working, high quality software

Able to conduct design and code reviews.

Rapidly respond to time-sensitive issues within multiple familiar software modules or subsystems, root causes issues, and proactively improves the robustness of individual features.

Works directly with support, the field, and customers to collect relevant data to come up with solutions and/or workarounds on complex, critical customer problems

Actively contribute in all phases of software development life cycle

Document development phases and monitor systems

Perform validation and verification testing.

Collaborate with engineering teams, product management, sales, and customers to understand requirements and develop effective solutions.

Work closely with support teams, field engineers, and customers to gather relevant data and develop solutions or workarounds for complex, critical customer issues.

Requirements:

Strong coding and design skills in ANY of the following programming languages: Java, Python, Go Language

Strong analytical, debugging and problem solving skills.

Ability to provide in-depth evaluation and analysis of unique complex technological issues.

Minimum 3-8 years of hands-on programming experience with at least 1-2 years of design experience.

Experience with front-end development using JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React.

Experience with quality assurance processes and methodologies.

Ability to think clearly and articulate your vision with the appropriate technical depth

Ability to manage critical situations involving high-priority customer issues, juggle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

Desired Experience:

Deep understanding of file systems and operating systems (Linux/Unix).

Experience in automating database operations like backup, restore, start/stop, etc. for large-scale relational databases like SAP HANA, DB2, PostgreSQL, Oracle EBS and MySQL.

Experience working with CI/CD and(or) DevOps workflows & tools, including containerization and orchestration tools like Terraform, Kubernetes and Docker.

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and understanding of cloud-native architectures.

Experience in building cloud native products and(or) solutions.

Experience building Enterprise Products with complex dependencies.
