We are now growing our Development team to strengthen our products, which focuses on KYC functionality and integrations. To this direction, we are seeking a Senior Development Engineer (Frontend & Development), reporting to the Development Lead.

The role is Hybrid in Athens and on a full-time basis.

Role description

As a Senior Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining frontend components and related functionality of our platforms. You will collaborate closely with backend developers, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver robust, secure, and user-friendly solutions tailored to client and regulatory requirements. The role requires strong technical expertise in front-end development, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to diverse project contexts.

Duties and responsibilities

·        Develop, enhance, and maintain frontend features for the application basis the platform design and architecture.

·        Collaborate with backend engineers and the Development Lead to design and deliver end-to-end solutions.

·        Write clean, modular, and well-tested code that aligns with engineering best practices.

·        Optimize application performance, response time, scalability, and security.

·        Ensure front-end compatibility and accessibility as per web3 standards.

·        Participate in design and code reviews, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

·        Translate UI/UX designs into functional components while maintaining usability and accessibility standards.

·        Document technical specifications and provide support for deployment and integration.

·        Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and incorporate them where relevant.

Requirements

·        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

·        5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.

·        Strong proficiency with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).

·        Solid knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.

·        Experience with APIs, RESTful services, and frontend–backend integration.

·        Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).

·        Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows.

·        Strong communication and collaboration skills.

·        Fluency in English.

·        Experience in Fintech, RegTech or enterprise SaaS and familiarity with blockchain-based platforms or distributed architectures will be considered as a plus.
