About the Role:
We are expanding our Engineering capabilities to strengthen our ability to process large volumes of healthcare and pharmaceutical data at an enterprise scale. A Senior Automation QA is responsible for ensuring software quality by designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks. They work closely with developers and product teams to identify test scenarios, create robust automation scripts, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and analyze test results. In this role, they also mentor junior QA engineers, drive test strategy and best practices, and help improve overall product reliability and release efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on experience in QA Testing - UI, API, DB - Automation & Manual Testing
- Understand holistic requirements, review and analyze stories, specifications, and technical design documents, and develop detailed test cases and test data to ensure business functionality is thoroughly tested.
- Create, execute, and maintain scripts on automation in BDD – Gherkin, Pytest, Playwright.
- Taking ownership of creating and maintaining artifacts and processes on: Test strategy, BRD, Defect count/leakage report, and different quality issues.
- Meet with internal stakeholders to review current testing approaches, provide feedback on ways to improve/extend / automate, along with data-backed inputs, and provide senior leadership with metrics consolidation.
- Ensure maximum feasible automation coverage after each sprint.
- Preparation, scripting, review, and update of test cases and relevant test data consistent with system requirements, including functional, integration & regression in the Agile and DevOps environment
- Be proactive and follow the Shift-left testing approach in identifying the issues early and following up on them efficiently.
- Support quality assurance initiatives and help institutionalize best practices
- Understanding the Automation Frameworks and start building, maintaining and executing scripts with minimal guidance at the earliest.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- 5+ years of strong expertise in Test requirement understanding, test data, test plan & test case designing. Develop detailed test cases and test data to ensure business functionality is thoroughly tested - Automation & Manual.
- Any experience with AWS/Cloud-hosted applications is an added advantage.
- Strong Experience in writing DB queries (preferably in PostgreSQL/ Snowflake/ MySQL/ RDS)
- 3+ years of test automation – UI and API testing – Creating, executing and maintaining automated test cases with Playwright, with programming experience in Python (MUST)
- Experienced working with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban
- Key competencies required: Problem-Solving, Analytical, Collaboration, and Accountability. Strong communication skills & stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of DevOps concepts with Git, Jenkins (MUST)
- Working experience in JMeter (MUST)
- Good to have experience in ETL and BI Reports
