About Role: 

As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and enhancement of software modules owned by the team. Your primary focus will be on the development of all backend server-side components and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests. You will guide and mentor junior team members by reviewing their code and designs to ensure that they are writing well-designed and high-quality code. This role requires excellent communication skills as you will need to collaborate across teams.

Key Skills

• 5 to 8 years of experience, preferably in an S/W Product company.
• Extensive hands-on experience in Go / Python / Java / C++, any modern programming language
• Excellent programming skills along with Data structures, Algorithms, Design Concepts.
• Experience in database design, SQL, performance tuning and scaling
• Deep understanding and experience with multithreading and concurrent programing
• Experience in working with Micro-services
• Experience in Cloud Technologies (preferably AWS)

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with AI tools for design, code generation and complex problem solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiar with Agile methodologies like Scrum etc.
• Knowledge of the SaaS and Backup domain will be an advantage.
• Working knowledge of Dockers and Kubernetes will be an advantage.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Play key role in design/development of features.
• Gathering & understanding requirements, working with product managers and other teams.   
• Design, develop & implement features independently. 
• Mentor and guide junior team members

Qualification

• B.Tech / B.E / M.C.A / M.E. / M.Tech (Computer Science) or equivalent
