Senior Tech Lead - Tieto Banktech (m/f/d)

This role is in the Payments and Cash Management unit, where we work on cutting-edge technology to create world-class financial products that are used by top banks worldwide.

Requirement

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tech Lead to join our engineering team. Someone with strong technical depth, architectural thinking, and excellent leadership skills. The ideal candidate should be able to handle complex technical problems, guide the team, mentor developers, and lead by example. You will work on the design, development, and maintenance of a financial product, driving engineering best practices while working in an agile environment.

Experience level - 8 to 12 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical directions to the team, guide design discussions, and ensure engineering best practices are followed.
• Design & Architecture: Contribute to system architecture, create detailed technical designs, and ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Code Development: Write, review, and optimize high-quality Java code for complex components and features.
• Code Reviews: Conduct and participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards.
• Mentoring: Mentor senior and junior developers, helping them grow technically and improving team capability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with architects, product owners, QA, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Problem Solving: Lead debugging, performance tuning, and root cause analysis of complex issues.
• Delivery Ownership: Support planning, estimation, risk identification, and ensure high-quality delivery within timelines.
• Support: Oversee support activities for production systems and ensure timely resolution of critical issues.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical and architectural documentation.
