The Role
We are hiring a Senior Technical Recruiter (Contract) to lead full-cycle recruiting across critical technical and business roles during a key growth phase at Mariana Minerals. This role is going to be a 6-12 months of contract where you will be responsible for designing and executing high-impact recruiting strategies to attract, assess, and close top-tier talent in competitive markets.
You will operate as a trusted partner to hiring managers and leadership—owning outcomes end to end, applying deep market insight, and continuously improving recruiting processes through data, systems, and automation.
What You’ll Do
Lead full-cycle recruiting for technical and non-technical roles, from intake through offer close
Translate complex role requirements into targeted, high-quality sourcing strategies
Build top-of-funnel pipelines through creative sourcing beyond traditional channels
Partner closely with hiring managers to drive alignment, prioritization, and fast decision-making
Deliver a rigorous, high-touch candidate experience with clear communication and low drop-off rates
Track and report recruiting funnel performance (pipeline health, conversion rates, time-to-fill) using Ashby
Proactively identify and escalate hiring risks or bottlenecks with proposed solutions
Clearly articulate Mariana’s mission, culture, and value proposition to close top candidates

Contribute to improving recruiting processes, interview frameworks, and hiring philosophy
Desired Qualifications
5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in high-growth tech, software, or technical environments
Proven success recruiting for specialized or hard-to-fill roles
Strong familiarity with Ashby, including pipeline management, reporting, and recruiting analytics
Demonstrated ability to quickly understand complex roles and translate them into effective sourcing strategies
Data-driven and process-oriented, with comfort using metrics to guide decisions
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including with senior leaders
