About the Role
As SVP – Digital Product Owner, Acquisition Squad – Business Banking Group, you will report to the Head of Digital, Business Banking and lead the design and delivery of seamless, high-conversion onboarding experiences for SME customers across digital and assisted channels. You will own the end-to-end product vision and backlog for all acquisition journeys—from eligibility and account opening to KYB/KYC completion and activation.
This role is pivotal in driving income, managing experience, and controlling cost while ensuring compliance and risk governance across digital acquisition platforms.
What You’ll Be Doing
Strategic Product Leadership
- Define and refine the digital acquisition vision and roadmap for SME customers.
- Translate business objectives into prioritized product features and onboarding journeys.
- Collaborate with CX, legal, compliance, and technology teams to deliver scalable, compliant solutions.
Customer Experience & Journey Optimization
- Champion best-in-class onboarding across mobile, web, and assisted channels.
- Use A/B testing, behavioral analytics, and VOC to improve user flows and reduce friction.
- Ensure omnichannel alignment and seamless handoffs between digital and assisted channels.
Performance & Growth
- Drive improvements in funnel conversion, approval rates, and first-product activation.
- Monitor KPIs such as onboarding volumes, drop-off rates, NPS, and time-to-open.
- Partner with marketing and analytics to maximize lead capture and campaign ROI.
Squad Leadership & Agile Delivery
- Lead the Acquisition Squad, including Scrum Master and Engineering Team.
- Foster a culture of ownership, experimentation, and customer-centricity.
- Maintain a high-quality backlog and ensure timely delivery of onboarding features.
Governance & Risk Management
- Ensure 100% compliance with internal and external regulations (KYC, AML, data privacy).
- Establish robust controls and reporting frameworks for onboarding activities.
- Mitigate operational and fraud risks across digital acquisition platforms.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience:
- 8–10 years in digital product management, preferably in financial services
- Strong understanding of SME banking, lending products, and digital platforms
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
- Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., PCI, WCAG, FFIEC) is a plus
