A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. (AMT), an employee-owned consultant engineering firm, is seeking a highly motivated Site Civil Project Engineer to join our growing Site and Infrastructure team of design professionals in our Rockville, MD or Herndon, VA office.

Responsibilities
Assisting the project manager and supporting engineering staff in the preparation of construction documents, design of site and infrastructure improvements including grading, utilities, erosion control, and storm water managementPreparation of design calculations and reports Processing construction and permit documents through the regulatory agenciesInteract with ClientsConstruction support services including site inspections and construction administration duties.
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in the planning and civil engineering design of mixed use, residential, commercial, institutional, and public site development projects.BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institutionEIT Required, PE preferredAbility to prepare plans, specifications and cost estimatesAbility to assist with the preparation of engineering studies and reportsTechnical proficiency in using AutoCAD including Civil 3D required
