About the Role
Due to our continuous growth, GREEN is seeking a passionate and hands-on Site Manager to join our team and support the implementation and development of renewable energy projects.
The successful candidate will be actively involved in wind and solar PV projects, contributing to design, construction supervision, plant monitoring, and technical administration.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Piraeus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily site operations, ensuring all construction activities run smoothly and efficiently.
- Coordinate and supervise multiple construction teams and subcontractors.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules, tracking progress against key milestones.
- Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and internal Quality Assurance standards.
- Monitor project budgets and support cost control and procurement processes.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering department to align construction with technical requirements.
- Maintain communication with client representatives, stakeholders, and Project Managers to provide consistent updates and reporting.
- Prepare and submit daily reports, documentation, and site record.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage on-site crises and unforeseen challenges effectively and promptly.
Requirements
Professional Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the execution of construction works, preferably in heavy industry projects, such as powerplants, refineries, or similar infrastructure.
- Proven track record in handling large-scale structures, heavy lifting operations, and managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in enforcing HSE regulations and applying safety protocols on complex work sites.
· Commissioning and decommissioning experience will be considered an asset.
Academic Background & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Postgraduate certifications in project management, construction safety, or related fields are considered a plus.
Languages & Technical Capabilities
- Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken).
- Additional knowledge of Italian is an advantage.
- Strong computer literacy: Microsoft Office, AutoCAD.
- Experience in reporting and documentation using digital tools.
- Familiarity with MS Project or other project planning tools is considered a plus.
