Site Methods Engineer – Steel Structures

• Define and validate construction and erection methods for steel structures
• Develop method statements, erection sequences, and lifting strategies
• Assess constructability considering site constraints, logistics, safety, cost, and schedule
• Act as technical interface between engineering, construction, and site teams
• Support resolution of site-related technical issues during construction
• Integrate safety, quality, and regulatory requirements into construction methods
• Identify erection risks and implement mitigation measures

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Structural, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering
• 5–10 years of experience in site methods or construction engineering
• Strong expertise in steel structure erection methodologies
• Experience on industrial, energy, or infrastructure projects (asset)
• Comfortable working in site-based and regulated environments
• Strong coordination and communication skills

Additional Information

• Long-term consulting assignment (approx. 360 days)
• On-site presence required in Kincardine, Ontario, Canada
