Contributes to the design and architecture of high-quality, complex systems and software. Prepares, reviews and analyzes software specifications for products and systems. Contributes to the development, review, analysis and implementation of test strategies for complex software products and systems. Contributes to the development, test and integration of code for new or existing software of significant complexity involving multiple teams. Provides the review, analysis and closed-loop corrective action for issues contributing to software defects and business process problems. Designs and implements software lifecycle and quality assurance methods for projects and products. Presents accurate project status to senior leadership, at both a summary and detailed level. Prepares technical documents used internally and externally to provide both summary and detailed technical information other teams require to complete projects and tasks.
Additional Job Details:
The functional analyst needs to be a Sr. Functional SME that has strong process knowledge of modules in an Oracle R12 environment. The senior analyst will gather businesses requirements, lead design workshops and CRP sessions. Additionally the analyst will lead module configuration, be involved in testing activities and use case collaboration with business partners and must own complete project documentation of process flows for solution design and requirement specifications. Job Duties: • Strong Oracle R12 Functional Consultant. • Experience with requirements management, configuration and deployment activities • Use case development, user acceptance testing and operational readiness for various Oracle capabilities. • Extensive experience within multiple disciplines typically delivered on the Oracle eBS platform including Order Management, Order to Cash, Project Accounting, Credits/Returns/Exchanges, Compensation, Trade Management, Holds Management, Fulfillment, Logistics and other core Oracle functional capabilities •Ability to solution integration strategy with legacy systems as well as 3rd party platforms. • Moderate technical knowledge of Oracle eBS platform preferred but not required. • Experience working projects in an agile development and waterfall development methodology. • Ability to effectively and efficiently engage with business partners, technical resources and 3rd party teams. • Ability to clearly communicate pros, cons, impacts and benefits of solution options and drive cross functional teams to a consensus. In addition to strong Oracle EBS background with OM module the candidate should be able to: •Determine business requirements for integration between OM and 3rd party custom fulfillment applications • Develop functional specifications based on the business requirements and create documents for the technical delivery team to develop. Need strong hands on experience in creating detail mapping documents from/to Oracle OM modules • Create solution that leverages Oracle Workflow process and create artifacts to integrate with 3rd party applications
Desired experience:
• 5+ years of experience with Oracle Functional / Business Analyst • Business process improvement, data analysis, and Oracle R12 knowledge. Able to compare Oracle 11 and Oracle R12 and evaluate the out of box functionality vs custom functionality • Lead cross functional teams to analyze and understand the operational impacts and opportunities for technological changes institution-wide and drive workshops with business partner.
