We are seeking a skilled backend engineer to join a high-impact Development Infrastructure team that empowers product engineers to deliver world-class software efficiently and securely. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and development tools that streamline workflows and enhance engineering productivity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve local development environments, implement robust security practices, and support the overall engineering organization. This position provides exposure to cutting-edge infrastructure development, challenging technical problems, and opportunities to influence engineering practices across the platform. Ideal candidates are proactive, collaborative, and passionate about enabling teams to achieve excellence in software delivery.

Accountabilities:

Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD infrastructure and build tools to improve developer productivity.

Set up and optimize local development environments for engineering teams.

Collaborate with internal engineers to understand workflow challenges and implement effective solutions.

Participate actively in planning, code reviews, standups, and other software development lifecycle activities.

Contribute to the roadmap of Development Infrastructure initiatives, prioritizing impactful projects.

Implement security best practices across the development and build environments.

Requirements:

7+ years of professional experience as a hands-on backend engineer or platform engineer.

2+ years of experience with Python.

Experience in teams focused on Engineering Effectiveness, Engineering Productivity, Development Infrastructure, or similar.

Proven ability to deliver complex projects end-to-end.

Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset for internal stakeholders.

Ability to solve complex problems in fast-paced and evolving environments.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices is highly desirable.
