Software Engineer 3 (Frontend)

Role Overview

As a Software Engineer 3, you will take full ownership of the design, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of critical modules in our codebase. You will be a technical driver — delivering robust, high-quality solutions; anticipating and mitigating risks; maintaining code health and standards; and mentoring/joining hands-on with other engineers to ensure the team’s success.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Design & Implementation

Architect and implement complex UI/feature modules in the frontend (e.g., for Hydra) with maintainable, reusable cod

2. End-to-End Delivery & Quality Assurance

Take full ownership of features from requirements to delivery — including planning, coding, unit testing, integration, bug fixes, and release readiness.

3. Codebase Maintenance & Refactoring

Identify technical debt, refactor legacy code, and proactively improve the codebase for long-term stability.

4. Mentorship, Reviews & Collaboration

Conduct constructive and thorough code reviews, giving feedback that improves code quality and developer skills.

5. Proactive Risk Identification & Architectural Guardrails

Anticipate potential architectural or design problems (e.g. circular dependencies, module coupling) and resolve them before they manifest.

6. Communication & Stakeholder Alignment

Work closely with backend teams, QA, product stakeholders to ensure smooth integration and alignment with project requirements and timelines.

7. Leadership & Ownership

Be the go-to technical owner for assigned modules / features, and accept full responsibility for their health and delivery.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Angular, TypeScript, and frontend architecture

• Experience with testing strategies and quality gates

• Ability to anticipate technical issues and resolve them proactively

• Clear, concise technical communication

• Strong ownership mindset and leadership qualities
