Software Engineer

Job Title: Full Stack Software Engineer (Senior 4-7 Years)

Location: Malmö,Sweden (1-2 times onsite per week will be required)

Duration: 6-12 month contract

Desired knowledge, experience, competence, skills etc:

• Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer, ideally with a focus on both backend and frontend development. You’re comfortable building, deploying, and maintaining microservices in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Frontend Expertise: Proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. You understand how to build responsive, accessible, and performant web interfaces.

• Backend Mastery: Experience with languages such as Node.js, Python, or Java to create RESTful APIs and scalable backend services. You understand database design (SQL and NoSQL) and how to integrate with external systems.

• Cloud & Microservices: You’ve deployed and maintained microservices in cloud environments. You’re well-versed in containerisation (Docker), and ideally, orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform).

• CI/CD Focus: You have a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and are comfortable automating deployments and testing to ensure high-quality code in production. Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar is expected.

• Collaboration & Growth Mindset: You’re a team player with excellent communication skills. You’re open to learning from your peers, sharing knowledge, and driving technical improvements.

• Communication & stakeholder management: You collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and facilitate effective discussions to ensure clear communication and alignment of project goals. You translate stakeholder needs into technical solutions, managing expectations and providing timely updates.

• Nice to Have: An interest in localisation or experience with internationalisation and/or multi-language support is appreciated.
