Now, we’re looking for an exceptional Software/AI Engineer (New Grad) to join our early team and help shape both our product and culture.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Software / AI Engineer (New Grad) to join our engineering team and help build the foundation of FurtherAI’s AI Workspace for Insurance.
In this role, you’ll work on end-to-end product features spanning AI model integration, data processing pipelines, and scalable backend systems. You’ll collaborate closely with senior engineers, AI researchers, and founders to bring real-world insurance workflows to life — transforming how underwriters, claims adjusters, and brokers get work done.

Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and deploy production-level code across our backend and AI systems.
Collaborate with AI researchers to integrate and optimize large language models for insurance workflows.
Build data processing and evaluation pipelines for unstructured document inputs (PDFs, emails, images).
Contribute to core infrastructure, from APIs to orchestration logic powering our AI Workspace for Insurance.
Work cross-functionally with product and customer teams to identify and solve real business problems with AI.
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and rapid iteration cycles.
You Might Be a Fit if You:
Are a recent CS, EE, or related STEM graduate (Bachelor’s or Master’s) with a strong foundation in software engineering.
Have hands-on experience with Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar modern languages.
Understand or are excited to learn about large language models (LLMs), NLP, or applied AI systems.
Are curious, resourceful, and comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
Want to see your code drive visible impact in the real world — not just in research.
Bonus:
Previous internship or project experience in AI/ML or full-stack development.
Experience working with frameworks like PyTorch, LangChain, or FastAPI.
Interest in insurance, fintech, or other regulated industries.
