Our Graduate Development Program is a three-year journey designed for recent graduates who look beyond the obvious, challenge existing processes, and are driven to automate and reinvent the way things work.
The program is structured into 4 progressive phases, each with distinct learning objectives. Tasks evolve according to your abilities and interests, ensuring the experience is as individual as you are.
From day one, you join ION on afull‑time permanent contract, carry real accountability on live projects, and be paired with senior professionals who guide your development throughout the entire journey.
What You'll Do
This is a blended role: 80% of your time is dedicated to core software engineering work, while 20% is focused on AI projects. The program is designed to grow well-rounded, full-stack developers.
Your work will include:

Contributing to the development of innovative software solutions with real market impact

Designing, developing, and testing code across different technology stacks

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to build and ship high-impact products

Solving complex technical problems and translating them into scalable, efficient solutions

Iterating on your work based on feedback, performance data, and evolving requirements
What We're Looking For

Master's degree in a STEM discipline — obtained within the last year or currently in progress, with a strong academic record

Programming experience in one or more of: C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript

Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, collaborative by nature, and fluent in English (B2+)

Based in Italy or willing to relocate; non-EU candidates must hold a valid EU work permit
Nice to have:Python, Scala.
