Solution Architect
About the Role
As a Solution Architect at Alasco, you will play a strategic role at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Customer Enablement. You will partner with prospective customers across the real estate and construction ecosystem, guide them through technical discovery, and design solutions that seamlessly fit into their existing system landscape. Your work will be instrumental in helping customers understand how Alasco can modernize their workflows, improve financial control, and drive digital transformation in an industry still early in adopting innovative software.
You will act as a trusted advisor throughout the entire sales cycle, combining deep product knowledge with solution-oriented thinking and strong business acumen. With a clear understanding of customer needs, industry processes, and integration requirements, you will design scalable, future-oriented solutions and ensure a smooth transition from pre‑sales into onboarding and customer success.
In close collaboration with Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, and Product, you will help shape Alasco’s go-to-market approach, advocate for customer needs, and contribute directly to expanding our footprint in the European Real Estate market.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Advisory & Solution Architecture
- Partner with the Sales team to understand customer requirements and provide expert guidance on how our solutions can best address their challenges.
- Conduct tailored product demonstrations and presentations for prospective customers, clearly articulating value and advising on seamless integration into their existing system landscape.
- Design and propose solution architectures that align with customer needs while ensuring compatibility with their current tools, workflows, and processes.
- Provide strategic recommendations on implementation, configuration, integration, and optimal product usage.
- Advise on best practices in data modeling, automation, and security to ensure scalable and resilient solutions.
2. Customer‑Focused Solution Development
- Lead discovery workshops, technical deep dives, and feasibility evaluations with potential customers.
- Support the pre‑sales process in technically complex deals, ensuring a smooth transition between Sales, Product, and Customer Enablement.
- Engage with customer stakeholders at eye level, aligned with their respective areas of expertise.
- Collaborate closely with the Product team to relay customer insights and contribute to product enhancements and roadmap discussions.
3. Knowledge Enablement & Thought Leadership
- Enable Customer Success, Sales, and Support teams by providing technical expertise, domain knowledge, and innovative strategic insights.
- Create reusable templates, playbooks, and reference architectures.
- Contribute market insights and technical expertise to product strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Engineering, Real Estate Management, Business Studies or a comparable qualification with good or very good academic performance.
- 3-5 years of experience in a Customer oriented role such as Consultant, Sales Engineer, Solution Architect with deal and presales experiences.
- Strong knowledge of translating business processes into digitization.
- Experience with SaaS platforms and modern web technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Experience with enterprise customers and cross‑functional teams.
