About the role
This role bridges sales, product, and engineering to design the right payment solution, guide implementation, and ensure long-term adoption and value for merchants. It combines pre-sales consultation, integration leadership, and ongoing technical account stewardship for a named portfolio of customers.
What you’ll do
Pre-sales solutioning: Run discovery, map requirements to Glomopay capabilities, design reference architectures, and deliver demos/POCs aligned to merchant needs and KPIs.
Integration leadership: Provide hands-on guidance for APIs, SDKs, and webhooks; review payloads/flows; drive sandbox testing, certification, and production cutover.
Technical ownership post–go-live: Act as primary technical point of contact; run cadence reviews, monitor payment health, and recommend best practices to improve auth rates, conversion, and reliability.
Troubleshooting and reliability: Triage incidents, analyze logs and traces, resolve 3DS/auth/idempotency/webhook issues, and coordinate fixes with Product/Engineering.
Enablement at scale: Build and maintain merchant-facing docs, Postman collections, sample apps, architecture guides, and internal playbooks for repeatable delivery.
Feedback and roadmap: Capture field insights, propose enhancements, and influence product priorities to remove recurring integration friction.
What you’ll bring
Strong hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and SDKs; fluency in JSON, HTTP, auth schemes (keys, OAuth/HMAC), and API tools (Postman/cURL).
Ability to design solution architectures and communicate trade-offs clearly to technical and business audiences; confident in live demos and technical presentations.
Practical payments knowledge: checkout/auth/capture/refund flows, 3DS/SCA, tokenization, retries/idempotency, reconciliation webhooks, and go-live best practices.
Programming proficiency in one or more: Java, Node.js/TypeScript, Python, or Go; familiarity with Git and observability (logs/metrics/tracing).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management across Sales, Product, and Engineering; comfort owning a portfolio of accounts.
Nice to have
Experience at a PSP/gateway or fintech; exposure to scheme/bank certifications and PCI fundamentals.
Background in solutions engineering, technical account management, or customer success engineering for API-first products.
Eligibility
Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
3–7 years in solutions engineering, integration engineering, TAM, or developer support in fintech/payments.
