About the role
We are looking for a Specialist UI Engineer with deep experience in ReactJS to join us in Bengaluru. In this role, you will play a key part in developing intuitive, high-performance user interfaces for our global B2B Securities Finance platforms, used by leading financial institutions around the world.
You will join a collaborative and forward-thinking UI engineering team focused on designing and delivering modern, scalable, and maintainable front-end applications. This position is ideal for experienced engineers who enjoy staying hands-on, solving meaningful technical challenges, and influencing architectural direction across complex web applications.
Your work will directly shape the experience of our global client base, ensuring our platforms remain efficient, accessible, and best-in-class within the financial technology ecosystem.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain high-performance, enterprise-grade web applications using ReactJS with a strong focus on accessibility, responsiveness, and performance.
- Take ownership of front-end architecture, including component structure, state management, and seamless integration with RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver robust, client-focused features.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote best practices in UI development across the team.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Champion front-end quality across development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Partner with support teams to diagnose and resolve UI issues, including performance bottlenecks and user-reported defects.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve front-end tooling, design consistency, and developer efficiency.
What we’re looking for
- 7+ years of commercial experience in front-end development with deep hands-on expertise in ReactJS and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Strong understanding of front-end architecture and experience developing scalable, component-based systems.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and asynchronous data handling techniques.
- Proven success delivering high-quality, production-grade code within Agile and CI/CD environments.
- Practical experience with Redux, Context API, or similar state management solutions.
- Demonstrated success in building client-facing B2B web applications with a strong focus on usability, performance, and accessibility.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive problem-solver with a continuous learning mindset and a passion for front-end technology.
