The Universal Pictures International finance team plays a key role in supporting the UPI SMT.  It oversees a complex, multinational network of owned operating companies, licensees and JV’s.  The team will partner closely with other HQ functions, all UPI operating companies and corporate groups based in London and Amsterdam. The finance team is committed to fostering development and engagement with all team members.

Responsibilities:

Planned job responsibilities are as follows but can change as team priorities evolve:

  • Create, maintain, and improve financial models used for greenlights, title P&Ls, scenario planning and all rights decision support
  • Collaborate with other business units to ensure information is up to date and accurate
  • Support Greenlights preparation and coordination across teams
  • Run scenarios for all rights / title release decision support
  • Management pacing, reporting and accounting for HQ marketing spend
  • Support monthly pacing and close processes
  • Support submissions to Film HQ, load systems, review and reconcile
  • Overall marketing cost analysis and support
  • Analyze weekend box office performance early Monday mornings under tight deadline
  • Flex into ad-hoc projects including but not limited to budget, actuals true-up, market performance analytics, improving Excel models, and creating PowerPoint presentations and data visualizations to business leaders

Qualifications

Eligibility Requirements:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Excellent Excel, financial analytical skills are essential
  • Strong analytics and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and high standards in quality and accurate reporting
  • Must be available to work extended hours and travel as needed

Desired Characteristics:

  • Knowledge of Business Warehouse / SAP is a significant advantage
  • Strong candidates will be well organized and able to prioritize multiple and competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills and a pro-active approach to building working relationships in a matrix environment
  • Media/Entertainment experience is desired

Additional Requirements:

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

Salary range: $80,000 - $95,000
