Sr. Healthcare Project Manager with Claims, Enrollment or Care Management experience
Responsible for multiple mid-sized scale projects with hands on project management experience on projects and project teams to deliver business solutions and services. Defines project charters, project planning, project scoping and project delivery. Contributes and improves project management methodology, working within the IT-PMO project management group to translate business requirements into a technical design strategy for implementing the application or solution. Coordinates with Technical leads and developers and various teams, to plan, design and implement.
Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Should be able to manage 4-5 mid-sized projects simultaneously.
Develop project plan, risk mitigation strategy, traceability matrix.
Develop project budget and tracking to the budget.
Employs best practices and standards and has understanding of the key project metrics.
Should be comfortable managing changing & competing priorities.
Should be able to manage difficult stakeholders
Should have strong analytical skills and must be able to ramp up quickly to the application domain and company processes.
Should have experience developing presentations and presenting them to senior executives
Should be able to improve existing processes and create new processes for efficiency and to improve quality.
Should have some technical application development background to understand the requirements and design of the project to engage the right resources and provide accurate estimates.
SKILLS:
Must have 7-10 years of experience managing projects in the health insurance industry, preferably in the Claims, Enrollment or Care Management area.
Healthcare Insurance domain background is a must-have
Project Methodologies experience.
MS Project, SharePoint, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
PMP Certification.
