What You’ll Do:
As a Staff Product Manager on the Platform team at Weights & Biases, you’ll play a pivotal role in scaling and evolving the foundational systems that power our machine learning infrastructure. In this role, you will drive execution across a range of mission-critical initiatives for our customers that drive the developer experience.
You’ll be responsible for orchestrating projects that require deep coordination and clarity across multiple disciplines. Whether it’s improving internal tooling to boost developer productivity, rolling out changes that ease the deployment process, driving platform reliability, strengthening our security posture, or improving how our customers setup and manage their W&B experience, you’ll make sure these efforts move from planning to launch with focus on ease, quality, and impact at scale.
If you’re energized by solving complex systems problems, collaborating with deeply technical teams, creating clarity, and delivering work that enables others to move faster, this role is for you.
About the Role:
In this role, you will lead the execution of platform initiatives end-to-end, collaborating cross-functionally to align on priorities and dependencies across multiple teams. You will make intentional trade-offs to balance performance, reliability, compliance, and velocity, driving scalability and developer efficiency at the highest quality. Your work will elevate developer experiences through streamlined workflows and intuitive tooling for ML practitioners, while using metrics and customer insights to guide every stage from requirements through launch. Exceptional communication will be key as you coordinate with stakeholders, engineering teams, and customers to ensure transparency and alignment throughout each initiative.
Who You Are:
- Experience: Experienced product manager with at least 7+ years working on platform infrastructure, or enterprise systems.
- Versatility: Proven ability to work across multiple domains — ideally cloud based infrastructure, developer tooling, or distributed systems.
- Technical fluency: Comfortable discussing APIs, architecture diagrams, deployment models, identity protocols, and platform trade‑offs with engineers.
- Cross‑functional leadership: Skilled at aligning diverse teams, setting priorities, and balancing technical constraints with business objectives.
- Customer empathy: Deeply curious about customer pain points — both external ML practitioners, IT admins, and internal developers — motivated to deliver solutions that make their workflows seamless.
- Execution focus: Thrives in ambiguity, builds clarity out of complexity, has a high attention to detail, and consistently drives initiatives from concept through delivery.
Preferred:
- Experience with ML developer tooling or MLOps platforms. If you’ve used TensorFlow before, this would be a bonus.
- Has experience working on identity & access management, billing workflows, or data infrastructure.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) and automation tooling will be helpful.
- Prior exposure to W&B or other experiment‑tracking platforms.

- You love to build frictionless products and solutions at the platform level
- You’re curious about AI and MLOps tooling
- You’re an expert in building experiences that developers love
