Job Summary: The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and maintaining proper personnel levels for major storm deployments. This role provides comprehensive support to the Operations Manager, and collaborates across departments to facilitate deployment planning, logistical preparation, and field communication that is necessary to complete a successful mission.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Assist with the planning, implementation, and delivery of storm deployment personnel
•Maintain a real-time roster of available staff and vendors, including credentials, certifications, and deployment readiness
•Assist with front-end preparation for deployment operations, ensuring adequate staffing levels and readiness
•Communicate assignment details, travel logistics, and project expectations to deployed team members
•Ensure staff meet all compliance, safety, and credentialing requirements
•Serve as key point of contact for day-to-day communication between project yards and office operations
•Collaborate with the Operations team to support broader projects and personnel management efforts
•Develop and maintain strong working relationships with vendors to ensure effective communication and coordination
•Participate in emergency planning and readiness efforts during disaster events
•Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
Education: Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience:
•One to three years’ experience in the disaster recovery industry or similar fast-paced operations environment
•One to three years’ in a staffing, scheduling, or project coordination role
•Familiarity with large-scale personnel deployment logistics is strongly preferred
Technical Skills:
•Computer and Microsoft Office proficiency
•Strong data entry and document formatting skills
•Experience with graphic design software a plus
Soft Skills:
•Highly organized and detail oriented
•Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
•Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
•Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams
•Ability to adapt and remain solutions oriented in a dynamic or high-pressure environment
Physical Requirements:
•Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing
•Must have a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets Company requirements
•Ability to work long and unpredictable hours
