Our client URGENTLY requires a Student Engineer (Electrical) for a 12 months + Part Time Contract in Nerang.

The role is up to 3 days per week during semesters, and full time during University holidays, to work within a team that supports the strategic and operational management of Intelligent Transport Systems and Electrical assets across Queensland’s state-controlled road network.

Skills and Experience required includes:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering or dual-degree equivalence.
Provide technical support on electrical engineering aspects of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), traffic signals, road lighting, and related electrical applications.
Assist in investigating and analysing engineering designs and projects, applying relevant legislation, standards, and electrical engineering principles.
Contribute to the planning and design of ITS, electrical, and special infrastructure projects to support delivery within scope, time, cost, and quality expectations.
