Substitute Nurse

The Substitute School Nurse provides temporary health services to students in the absence of the regular school nurse. This role ensures the health and safety of the school community by delivering first aid, managing chronic conditions, administering medications, maintaining health records, and supporting public health initiatives

Qualifications

• Required:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [insert state].

  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.

  • Knowledge of child development and school health procedures.

• Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
