Supplier Quality Engineer

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team and support an important customer. The activity includes: 

• Represent the company and own the relationship with Suppliers
• Perform Potential supplier assessment “PSA”
• Determine root cause of supplier manufacturing problems and lead implementation of timely, effective, and efficient quality resolutions
• Manage supplier crisis (quality and/or capacity issues) with on-site support within 24 hrs when required
• Assure supplier understanding and compliance with APQP processes and product PPAP submission and approval requirements
• Develop and execute plans to ensure supplier fulfillment of quoted capacity through use of Run at Rate workbook
• Improve quality performance of suppliers, running workshops at supplier site and assist suppliers in developing a robust quality system

Qualifications

• University Degree in Engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience. Preferred specializations are: mechanical, electronics, aeronautical, chemical and industrial processes
• Technical and Quality Certifications are a plus
• 2 years, thereof 1 years’ experience in the field of Automotive Purchasing/Supplier Quality or Engineering.
