The Mission
As the System Engineer, you are the primary technical anchor and decision-maker for our Video Security development projects. You hold the ultimate responsibility for the technical conceptualization and the final engineering integrity of the product. From the initial requirement to the final regulatory certification, you ensure that every engineering discipline aligns to create the best security solution.
Core Responsibilities
- Technical Authority & Decision Making: Serve as the "go-to" person for engineering-related topics within the project. You are responsible for the technical concept, balancing critical engineering decisions and trade-offs.
- Requirements Engineering: Lead the initial gathering and translation of product requirements into high-level technical specifications, ensuring a clear roadmap for the multidisciplinary development teams.
- System Architecture & Feasibility: Define and own the system architecture. You must balance complex requirements with technical feasibility, cost-efficiency, and global compliance standards to ensure a robust product foundation.
- Comprehensive Risk Assessment: Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle. This includes conducting deep-dive assessments into system reliability and functional safety, ensuring that potential failure points are addressed at the architectural or design level.
- HW & SW Synchronization: Act as the primary integrator between Hardware (HW) and Software (SW) work packages. You will synchronize these disciplines to ensure seamless interoperability and that the system performs as a unified, high-performance entity.
- End-to-End Oversight: Maintain a holistic view of the development process. You will oversee the technical progress through the design, implementation, and rigorous testing phases, ensuring the product is ready for global deployment.
- Certification & Compliance: Drive the technical path toward final product certification. You ensure the system meets all necessary regulatory, safety, and industry-specific standards required for international markets.
- Innovation Scouting: Proactively identify and evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends. You will determine how advancements in AI, sensor technology, and connectivity can be integrated into the product vision to maintain Keenfinity's competitive edge
