WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Systems Integration Engineer, your goal is to plan, build, and maintain integrations between Tractian’s CMMS platform (TracOS) and enterprise systems (SAP, IBM Maximo, TOTVS, etc.). You’ll learn to translate high-level architecture into working code, assist with troubleshooting, write tests and help ensure smooth data flows for our customers and partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and execute integration engineering end-to-end, from high-level architecture down to code implementationBeing able to think on your feet and comfortable talking about technical concepts, and explaining how Tractian works, both from a product feature and API architecture perspectiveBe the primary, ongoing technical point of contact for our largest users’ and partners’ technical teamsWork closely with Tractian Product & Engineering teams to improve and evolve Tractian products
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related fields, or 2–4+ years of experience in a technical role (internships, research projects, entry-level technical jobs)Familiarity with RESTful APIs and common data formats (JSON, XML)Some exposure to one or more programming languages (Python, Go, JavaScript, etc.)Basic understanding of SQL or NoSQL databasesEagerness to learn event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ask clarifying questionsStrong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable collaborating in EnglishFamiliarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, or containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
