The Systems Accountant is responsible for the effective management, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organisation’s financial systems and related data flows. The role acts as a key link between Finance, IT, and operational teams to ensure systems are well-controlled, efficient, and support accurate and timely financial information.

The Systems Accountant ensures the integrity of financial data, optimises system performance, and leads enhancements to enable automation, reporting accuracy, and streamlined processes across the business.

Qualifications

Relevant accounting qualifications
Minimum 3-6 years’ experience in a systems accountant role or technical implementation role
Extensive experience with D365 F&O a must.
Proven ability to effectively communicate and influence to get things done.
Capable of working without close supervision and able to exercise sound independent judgment and responsibility.
Strong business/commercial acumen and the ability to influence effectively in a team environment.
Technical experience in rolling out or upgrading financial system
