SYSTEMS DESIGN ENGINEER

Mission

• To design, develop, and integrate complex systems that meet specified requirements and standards, while driving innovation and improvement.

Key tasks

• Design and develop complex systems
• Integrate systems components and ensure compatibility
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive system development
• Conduct system testing and validation
• Analyse system performance and identify areas for improvement
• Develop and maintain system documentation
• Ensure compliance with system requirements and standards
• Participate in system reviews and meetings

Technical

• Knowledge of system design and development principles
• Experience with system integration and testing
• Familiarity with system engineering methodologies (e.g., MBSE)
• Understanding of system requirements and standards
• Proficiency in system design and development tools (e.g., UML, SysML)

Behavioural

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyse complex systems

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field
