Job Summary:  iHerb is seeking an entrepreneurial and self- motivated TA recruiter to join our team in support of continued international expansion.  This hybrid role will be based out of our Amsterdam office and have TA responsibilities across multiple markets. This role will be responsible for working cross-functionally across all business verticals in support of all Talent Acquisition (TA) initiatives focusing a majority of the time on sourcing, interviewing, system management, Director-level and above candidate scheduling and other duties as needed. The Talent Acquisition Recruiter II will support international hiring needs across several markets including Europe, MENA and APAC.

Job Expectations:

  • Proactively source candidates through online job search engines, referrals, and direct sourcing using proactive methods (social media, targeted ads, etc.)
  • Conduct phone screens, provide candidate assessments, and recommend viable candidates
  • Partner directly with local HR leadership and Legal Counsel to ensure all pertinent laws and regulations are followed
  • Manage all candidate communications and information to ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the interview process to offer to candidate
  • Partner with the Head of Talent Acquisition in arranging candidate travel and constructing itineraries for on-site visits
  • Create and execute communication cadences to keep Team Members updated and apprised of any and all changes and/or progress on open requisitions, requisition approvals or job scope changes
  • Partner with iHerb’s Human Resources (HR) business partner and HR Leader population regarding key changes, process improvements and in critical decision making situations that affect the HR and Talent landscape
  • Demonstrate ability to drive social media recruiting efforts
  • Work directly with International Leaders, Employer of Record Service Providers and external recruiting vendors to fulfill identified needs
  • Work cross-functionally as needed to support TA efforts in different verticals
  • Tracking and processing invoices and expense reports for agency / vendor payments
  • Maintain candidate tracking, records, status and hiring statistics, using an applicant tracking system.
  • Prioritize and hire against tight timelines and deliverables and have the ability to refocus your efforts when business needs change
  • Participate in recruiting events such as job fairs and other networking events
  • Support operational development, policies, procedures, vendor selection, and yearly budgeting
  • Act as an expert on recruiting, best practices, utilizing a variety of tools, including internet sourcing, social networks, and industry-specific sites
  • Utilize Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to monitor daily applicant traffic and communicate with hiring departments (Greenhouse)
  • Establish recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs
  • Able to recruit entry-level to Sr. Management positions
  • Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites
  • Determine position requirements by meeting with department managers, studying job description and understanding necessary job qualifications
  • Write and create job ads that sell the company, describe position accurately, and explain benefits
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements
  • Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules and escorting applicants to interviews

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

   Required:      

  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Strong system/ATS/reporting skills
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Ability to function as a full-cycle recruiter in driving sourcing strategies, plans and pipelines from entry-level to Sr. Leadership roles
  • Certified Internet Researcher (CIR), LinkedIn Certified Recruiter (LCR) preferred
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures
  • Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical and presentation skills
  • Strong working knowledge of current federal and state regulations related to employment (i.e. EEOC, ADA, etc.)

Equipment Knowledge:

  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Power Point & Excel)

Experience Requirements:

Generally requires a minimum of 4 years or recruiting experience in a corporate or agency setting. Also, be able to source applicants for difficult to fill positions.  Demonstrated experience working across multiple markets, time zones and geographies.  Experience with Greenhouse ATS and WorkDay HRIS preferred but not required

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Communication or Business Administration or related field preferred, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.

Judgment/Reasoning Ability: Able to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly using sound judgment, poise and diplomacy. Ability to use judgment and reasoning skills, and determine when to escalate issues, as required, in a timely manner.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk and hear. The Team Member is frequently required to sit, walk, climb stairs, use hands and fingers, bend, stoop and reach with hands and arms.  Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the work day.  The Team Member may occasionally lift or move office products and supplies up to 25 pounds.  Proper lifting techniques required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
