Talent Acquisition Partner/Senior Talent Acquisition Partner
Prevail Fund is building a recruitment operation that will serve both our team and our partners in Sub Saharan Africa and South East Asia. We're currently a 30-person team planning to roughly double in size over the next two years, and we also help our partners to build the teams they need to achieve impact at scale.
This is an opportunity for an exceptional recruiter to drive hiring for Prevail and for our partners, and help to build and scale a world-class TA function for the impact sector. If you're excited about finding exceptional talent to drive ambitious social change, we'd love to hear from you.
Note - we're open to hiring at either TA partner or Senior TA partner level depending on experience.
About Prevail Fund
Prevail is a new organization that helps field implementers and philanthropists pursue ambitious social change. We work with private philanthropists to fund specific initiatives. Rather than diversifying across multiple causes, we prioritize deep, strategic investments in proven solutions with the potential to reshape global norms.
Prevail provides patient capital to implementers – primarily in the form of grants that grow over time as our partner organizations scale. In addition to funding, Prevail also offers a suite of systems and talent development services designed to address common growth barriers and prepare partner organizations for accelerated scale.
For example, our first fund aims to improve foundational education for over 25 million children across 10 national governments in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia.
In our first two years, we've:
Secured our ambitious fundraising target
Partnered with 25 organizations across South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa
Hired 30+ mission-driven team members globally
Run dozens of execution projects to strengthen key functions for our partners, including hiring key roles
The role
You'll drive hiring for Prevail and for our partners, whilst helping to build our TA function to scale.
Internally, we have ambitious growth plans for our team. You’ll help to find world-class talent that will help us roughly double in size over the next two years.
Externally, we help partner organizations with their hiring - often working directly within partners' teams to help fill key roles and build out recruitment operations. This is one of the clearest ways we can help partners scale - our partners consistently tell us that hiring is their biggest barrier to growth. We're planning to significantly expand this work in the next 12 months.
We obsess about two things: finding world-class diverse talent and delivering consistently excellent candidate experiences. We're proud of what we've built so far, and we're ready to scale our TA operation. Working with George, Neetika and Selin, you will;
Source top talent: Find and attract exceptional candidates globally for Prevail and our partners. We do much more than typical ‘LinkedIn’ sourcing - we focus heavily on building live networks, incentivising referrers, and finding innovative ways to connect talent.
Lead full-cycle recruitment: Drive end-to-end hiring, delivering consistently excellent candidate experiences. We care deeply about personalised responses, clear timelines, and thoughtful feedback.
Be a talent partner to our grantees: Support partners with their recruitment needs, including potentially embedding with partners’ teams to help with filling key roles & support with recruitment operations.
Innovate: Continually find ways to make us and our partners better. Track key metrics, find ways to improve them with better tools, processes and ways of working.
About you
You’ll enjoy working in fast-paced environments and bring;
Talent acquisition expertise: 6+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment with a track record of success in finding and attracting talent. We're ideally looking for someone with experience across agency recruiting, executive search, and/or in-house recruitment.
Operational excellence: You’re organized, systematic, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. You probably enjoy having a zero inbox at the end of every day.
Problem solving mindset: You proactively find ways to achieve the goal, and don’t wait for other people to solve problems. You spot opportunities for improvement and make practical operational changes.
Effective communicator: You write clearly and succinctly. You’re a great listener, connect easily with people and can be an ambassador for Prevail.
Service-oriented: You care deeply about the experience of every candidate and hiring manager.
Growth mindset: You’re open to feedback, learn quickly, and adapt to new challenges.
