We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition leader with deep expertise in end-to-end recruitment and strategic talent sourcing, specifically within the Chemical / Specialty Chemicals / Manufacturing sector. This role will be responsible for building and executing scalable hiring strategies aligned with business growth, ensuring access to high-quality technical, commercial, and leadership talent across functions.

The ideal candidate brings strong industry understanding, hands-on recruiting expertise, and the ability to partner closely with business leaders to anticipate workforce needs, improve hiring efficiency, and strengthen employer branding.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Talent Acquisition

  • Own and drive the end-to-end talent acquisition strategy for the organization across plant, R&D, sales, supply chain, corporate, and leadership roles.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to understand workforce plans, hiring priorities, and future capability requirements.
  • Translate business objectives into actionable recruitment roadmaps.

Talent Sourcing & Recruitment Execution

  • Lead active and passive talent sourcing using multiple channels including LinkedIn, job portals, industry networks, referrals, and headhunting.
  • Build strong pipelines for niche and hard-to-hire roles within the chemical domain.
  • Ensure timely closure of positions while maintaining high quality-of-hire standards.

Chemical Industry Hiring Expertise

  • Manage recruitment for roles across process engineering, production, quality, R&D, EHS, regulatory, sales, and operations.
  • Leverage strong understanding of chemical manufacturing environments, safety standards, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies for plant-based and technical roles.

Stakeholder & Candidate Management

  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, guiding them on role design, market insights, and interview best practices.
  • Deliver an excellent candidate experience from initial engagement to onboarding.
  • Manage external vendors, consultants, and recruitment partners effectively.

Process, Metrics & Compliance

  • Continuously improve recruitment processes, tools, and systems for efficiency and scalability.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and offer acceptance rates.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and labor regulations.

Employer Branding & Talent Pipeline

  • Strengthen employer brand within the chemical talent market.
  • Build long-term talent pipelines for critical and leadership roles.
  • Support diversity and inclusion initiatives across hiring programs.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong expertise in Talent Acquisition, Talent Sourcing, and Recruitment
  • Proven experience hiring for Chemical / Manufacturing / Industrial sectors
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Hands-on sourcing and hiring capability, not just vendor management
  • Data-driven mindset with strong process orientation
  • Ability to manage high-volume and niche hiring simultaneously

Experience & Qualifications

  • 8–15 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition
  • Mandatory exposure to Chemical / Specialty Chemical / Manufacturing industry hiring
  • Experience in both corporate and plant-based recruitment preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA / HR specialization is a plus
