TDP Design Engineer (Roads O&M)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical TDP Design Engineer (Roads O&M) to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing road operations and maintenance projects, ensuring the efficient and safe functioning of our transportation infrastructure.

• Develop and review road design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for O&M projects
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify maintenance needs and prioritize repairs
• Utilize CAD and GIS software to create and update road design drawings and maps
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective maintenance strategies
• Analyze traffic patterns and recommend improvements to enhance road safety and efficiency
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders and management
• Ensure compliance with local and international standards for road design and maintenance
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet organizational goals
• Stay updated on industry trends and innovative technologies in road O&M

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in road design and maintenance, with a focus on O&M projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software, and GIS applications
• Strong knowledge of road design principles, traffic engineering, and pavement management
• Experience with project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
• Willingness to travel to project sites within Qatar as needed
