The Technical Product Manager (AI Products) will lead the development and expansion of a cutting-edge LLM-based decision-support tool, bridging the gap between technical engineering and institutional needs. This role combines hands-on technical work with strategic product management, ensuring that AI solutions meet user requirements and deliver high-value insights. You will define product roadmaps, configure system prompts, guide feature prioritization, and support client implementations, while staying ahead of advancements in AI and LLM technologies. Collaborating across product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams, you will help shape the future of AI in higher education analytics. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while providing meaningful opportunities to influence product strategy and execution.

Accountabilities:

  • Own the product lifecycle for AI-based decision-support tools, including roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and technical configuration
  • Serve as lead system prompt engineer, creating and maintaining instructions for LLM-based products
  • Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders to conceptualize, test, and implement new features
  • Develop and monitor performance metrics to ensure product reliability, scalability, and value delivery
  • Support training, documentation, and enablement for internal and client teams
  • Stay current on frontier AI and LLM technologies to recommend product enhancements and innovation opportunities
  • Contribute to cross-functional strategy discussions and product demos, aligning product capabilities with market needs
  • Requirements:
  • Prior experience in enterprise reporting and higher education data analytics
  • Strong learning agility and adaptability in rapidly evolving technical environments
  • Technical aptitude, including basic SQL and hands-on product configuration experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for documentation, client interactions, and prompt engineering
  • Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues during development and deployment
  • Preferred: experience with Python or scripting languages, familiarity with LLMs, B2B product management experience, and prior exposure to decision-support tools
