Technical Product Owner

Position Overview

We are looking for a Technical Product Owner to join our team. You will play a key role in shaping how we execute on our product vision, working closely with the founding team to deliver 10x value to our clients.

As an early-stage startup, we pride ourselves on rolling up our sleeves and building from scratch. You’ll lead a nimble, cross-functional team while relentlessly prioritizing scale, speed, and quality.

What you'll do

• Turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into clear, actionable plans

• Do whatever it takes to make our product and team successful, from writing QA plans to tracking down the root cause of a user’s frustration

• Work closely with engineering to design scalable, high-quality APIs, ensuring feasibility, smart trade-offs, and well-architected solutions

• Own and drive your roadmap, consistently delivering more with less

• Spot high-impact product opportunities and champion new features with strong qualitative and quantitative reasoning

• Deliver an exceptional end-to-end customer experience, from first touch to ongoing usage.

• Think in terms of the big picture but execute brilliantly on the details

• Track performance metrics, refine priorities, and iterate relentlessly for continuous improvement

• Communicate with empathy and exceptional clarity across engineering, leadership, and customers

What you bring

• 5+ years of experience in a start-up and fast-paced environment, with significant experience in product management (e.g. Revolut, Stripe, Uber, Meta)

• Strong technical background, with solid familiarity with web technologies and APIs (REST/JSON)

• Technical fluency, so you can ask engineers insightful questions about architecture and product decisions and understand the trade-offs (a must)

• Fluency in SQL and/or a scripting language such as Python, and comfort working directly with data

• Hands-on coding experience in your past, even if you’re not an active engineer today.

• Ability to make a strong business case and rally founders, product owners, and engineers to help you execute

• Excellent at deconstructing complex problems into smaller, logical components and prioritizing them using data-driven insights

• A hyper-logical and structured thinker, with strong attention to detail and a drive to continuously improve things

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders

• Ideally, a STEM or other highly quantitative degree from a globally recognized university
