The ideal candidate brings a strong engineering background, excellent program execution skills, and the ability to translate complex technical requirements into structured, actionable plans. You will work closely with engineering, product, data, and business teams to drive end-to-end delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
1. Program & Project Management
- Own end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical programs across multiple teams.
- Develop detailed program roadmaps, timelines, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead sprint planning, retrospective meetings, and cross-team coordination to ensure smooth execution.
- Optimize workflows, improve delivery efficiency, and drive alignment across engineering, data, and product stakeholders.
2. Product Development & Execution
- Work closely with Product Managers to understand business goals, user needs, and technical constraints.
- Translate product requirements into detailed technical specifications and actionable engineering plans.
- Ensure product features are built with scalability, performance, and long-term usability in mind.
- Continuously monitor progress against KPIs and ensure timely release of high-quality deliverables.
3. Data Engineering Collaboration
- Partner with data engineering teams to drive development of data pipelines, data models, and analytical systems.
- Ensure alignment between data engineering initiatives and broader product/platform strategy.
- Oversee data governance, quality, and integration milestones for data-centric programs.
- Identify technical dependencies, risks, and opportunities in data-driven projects.
4. Technical Architecture & Solutioning
- Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to design scalable and robust system architectures.
- Review design proposals, identify technical gaps, and ensure solutions align with long-term architectural vision.
- Facilitate technical discussions, evaluate trade-offs, and ensure architectural best practices are followed.
- Champion engineering excellence, security standards, and system reliability across programs.
5. Full SDLC Oversight
- Manage programs through the entire SDLC—requirement gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-release optimisation.
- Ensure documentation, testing coverage, and release processes meet internal engineering standards.
- Work with QA, DevOps, and SRE teams to maintain smooth CI/CD pipelines and high system uptime.
Qualifications & Skills
- 6–8 years of experience in technical program management, software engineering, or a hybrid engineering-product role.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, and program management frameworks.
- Experience working closely with product development teams, engineering managers, data engineers, and solution architects.
- Hands-on knowledge of data systems, distributed systems, APIs, cloud technologies, and modern engineering practices.
- Ability to evaluate and discuss technical architecture, design decisions, and engineering trade-offs.
- Excellent documentation, communication, stakeholder management, and cross-team coordination skills.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, ability to navigate ambiguity, and capability to influence without authority.
