Why you should join us

Tandem is a generational opportunity to rethink how we bring new therapies to market, and our path to doing so is significantly de-risked – we have:

  • Exponential organic growth: We have product-market fit and are growing rapidly through word-of-mouth. Tandem supports thousands of patients every day, is doubling doctor users every quarter, and is working with the largest biopharma companies in the world.

  • An AI-first business model: Our approach is distinctly enabled by AI, but our business will get stronger (not commoditized) as foundation models improve. We are building durability through two-sided network effects that will compound over time.

  • Top tier investors: With the traction to support conviction in our model, we raised significant funding from investors (Thrive Capital and General Catalyst) to build an exceptional team of engineers and operators.

Our number one priority is scaling to market demand. We are looking for individuals who are high horsepower, high throughput, and hyper resourceful to help us increase capacity and grow. We move fast and need to move faster.

All full-time roles are in person in New York. You can learn more about working with us in the last section of this page.

About the role

We’re looking for a Technical Sourcer to help power the team that’s building Tandem. You’ll be the engine behind our technical recruiting efforts — uncovering, engaging, and inspiring world-class engineering, product, and technical talent. Your work will directly influence who joins Tandem and how we continue to scale with intention, excellence, and technical rigor.

In this role, you’ll partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and interview teams to deeply understand our technical landscape. You’ll identify talent across engineering and product disciplines, craft thoughtful and personalized outreach, and build strong, diverse pipelines for highly specialized roles.

You’ll be joining a recruiting team that treats talent as a strategic advantage — not a numbers game. You’ll build expertise in technical market research, competitive intelligence, and talent mapping across emerging technologies. You’ll also gain exposure to full-cycle recruiting and help evolve how we attract and engage top technical talent globally.

This is a high-impact role for someone who’s energized by fast-moving environments, loves solving complex puzzles, and takes pride in building long-term relationships with candidates. If you’re resourceful, curious, and motivated by the idea of shaping Tandem’s technical talent foundation and growth story, we’d love to hear from you.

If you join, you will:

  • Research, identify, and engage top talent across a variety of roles and levels

  • Partner with recruiters and hiring teams to deeply understand role requirements and shape ideal candidate profiles

  • Build and manage diverse technical pipelines using a mix of sourcing strategies—direct outreach, referrals, events, communities, and research-driven insights

  • Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to maintain recruiting pipelines and candidate tracking in our ATS (Ashby)

  • Track and analyze sourcing metrics to continually optimize outreach, conversion, and pipeline quality

We’ll be most excited if you have:

  • 1-5 years of experience as a dedicated technical sourcer

  • Experience sourcing across multiple functions or working in a dynamic, high-growth environment

  • Creativity and persistence in developing new strategies to attract and engage great talent

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills—you’re comfortable building trust with candidates and internal teams alike

This is a list of ideal qualifications for this position. If you don't meet every single one of them, you should still consider applying! We’re excited to work with people from underrepresented backgrounds, and we encourage people from all backgrounds to apply.
