About the Role
We're looking for a Remote Weekend Technical Support Engineer based in Vietnam to provide critical assistance to our clients on weekends and holidays. This remote position requires weekend and holiday shifts, to ensure our customers receive timely and effective support.
This is a part-time, remote position. This role specifically covers weekend and holiday daytime shifts (8 AM – 5 PM ICT).
Vast.ai users or hosts preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers via email, chat, and phone
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to our GPU rental platform
- Collaborate with the development team to escalate and address complex technical problems
- Maintain and update support documentation
- Monitor system performance and report any irregularities
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 coverage

To be successful as a Support Engineer, you should have a strong understanding of Linux, running AI workloads and general problem solving ability.
Qualifications
- Strong technical background with experience in cloud computing, GPU technologies, or related fields
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Fluency in English
- Experience with Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with AI, Vast.ai and machine learning concepts
- Customer-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service

Pay
- Base hourly rate: $8.50 – $11.50/hour (depending on experience)
- Weekend rate: $10 – $13/hour (applies to all regular Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Holiday rate: 300% of base hourly (~$25 – $35/hour), as required by Vietnam labor law
