Test Automation Engineer (Web)

We're on the lookout for a Test Automation Engineer (Web) to join our team working on a social news aggregation platform.

What you will do

• Automate and maintain test suites for different features on Web app. Increase automation coverage and fix tests to maintain pass rate.

• Monitor hourly and PR test execution reports.

• Raise issues when they’re found.Support weekly release validations.Manual testing for not automated scenarios.

• Work closely with the product/development team to analyze upcoming features or changes in existing ones.

• Make test plans and document test cases in a Test Management Tool.

• Support them in specific testing requests.

• Maintain and enhance internal test framework built for web testing framework (Playwright / Typescript).

What you bring

• 3+ years of experience in Web testing.

• Strong understanding of web testing concepts and methodologies.

• Proficiency in Typescript.

• Hands-on experience with test frameworks like Playwright.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM).

• Experience using Test Case Management tools.

• Experience of CI/CD pipeline setup.

• Proficiency with GIT.

• Experience with Jira.Strong communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python for API testing.

• Scripting skills.
