Test Engineer – Tieto Tech Consulting (m/f/d)

Tieto Tech Consulting is looking for highly motivated Test Engineer! 

Working as a Test Engineer, you will work in our teams helping clients to navigate through testing challenges. We are looking for candidates from mid to advanced mid level, so don’t hesitate to apply! 

Your tasks and responsibilities: 

• Requirement analysis, documentation reviews and testing scope identification
• Test planning & estimation
• Test design and execution for different testing levels (System, Integration, UAT, etc.)
• Making sure that environments and changes are ready for testing
• Defect registration and management
• Quality risk identification and escalation
• Support developers, product owners, business representatives and others
• Can act as test manager on team scale: leading 2-3 test engineers, planning testing activities and etc.

We expect you to: 

• Learn and adapt quickly
• Work well independently
• Be able to concentrate on details
• Be able to communicate with people from different countries
• Have knowledge of different types and methods of testing
• Have knowledge of software development process
• Have some technical knowledge (e.g.: SQL, API, HTML/CSS, XML, programming basics, etc.)
• Have some experience testing API/REST services
• Have at least 2 years of experience in Test Engineer role
• Be advocate for quality

Nice to have skills:  

• Any ISTQB certificate
• Have experience working according to SAFe methodologies
• Familiarity/experience with different development methodologies (such as Agile, Waterfall or anything in between)
• Familiarity with any popular solutions and technologies (e.g.: SAP, Cloud or anything else)
