Great Hill is seeking a Test Enterprise Network Modernization (TENM) Engineer III - SME in Orlando, FL. The TENM Engineer III Subject Matter Expert (SME) provides senior-level technical leadership for the design, development, integration, and implementation of enterprise network infrastructure supporting the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC). This position supports the Test Enterprise Network Modernization (TENM) program, encompassing Test Network Modernization (TNM), ATEC Fiber Modernization (AFM), and Future Wireless Network (FWN) initiatives. The SME ensures standardized, secure, interoperable, and scalable network solutions across distributed test centers and operational test locations.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise network architectures supporting ATEC test missions.
  • Provide technical expertise for modernization of wired and wireless network infrastructure, including routing, switching, fiber, and wireless systems.
  • Support the integration of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware and software solutions consistent with enterprise standards, cybersecurity requirements, and test center operational needs.
  • Support acquisition lifecycle activities, including responding to Requests for Information (RFI), participating in Market Assessment Discussions (MAD), and providing technical input to acquisition strategies and planning documents.
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders, program managers, cybersecurity personnel, and test center engineers to ensure interoperability, commonality, and configuration standardization across the enterprise.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight for fiber modernization efforts to improve data throughput, reliability, redundancy, and lifecycle sustainability.
  • Support future wireless networking initiatives by evaluating, integrating, and optimizing existing and developmental wireless technologies at test centers and operational test locations.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD, Army, and ATEC cybersecurity, network management, and configuration control requirements.
  • Contribute to enterprise documentation, technical assessments, and implementation planning in support of TENM program objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience leading network design, development, and implementation of enterprise infrastructure environments.
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale network modernization or infrastructure programs.
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes, including RFIs, market research activities, and technical evaluations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or applicable professional certifications in cybersecurity and networking (e.g., CCNP, CISSP, Security+, or equivalent).

Desired Skills:

  • Experience supporting Test & Evaluation (T&E) environments or operationally complex, geographically distributed networks.
  • Familiarity with enterprise network standardization, configuration management, and lifecycle sustainment.
  • Experience integrating fiber and wireless networking solutions in mission-critical environments.
