Antithesis is looking for an in-office employee to help improve and maintain our marketing, documentation and product websites / webapps.

As a UI Engineer, you will work closely with the Product Design Director to deliver features requested by the marketing department, documentation creators and product users.

Requirements

  • Experience implementing design mocks in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • Experience building static websites

  • Understanding of how the internet and browsers work

  • At least 4 years of experience improving and maintaining websites

  • Great attention to detail

  • A portfolio website or a list of links to projects you’ve worked on

Bonus points

  • Experience with different build tools

  • Experience with testing libraries like Playwright

  • Experience building SPAs with a frontend framework (React, Vue, Svelte, Solid, etc.)

  • Experience in back-end development (Node.js, Python, PHP, etc.)

  • Experience with Terraform

  • Experience creating and shipping a software package (e.g., an npm library)

  • Experience optimizing web pages for performance

  • Search engine optimization (SEO) experience

  • Advanced CSS/JS skills (e.g., 3D, WebGL, visual effects)

  • Experience creating, scaling, and supporting design systems

Possible contributions

Months 1–3

  • Get up to speed with the Antithesis marketing and documentation websites by making small improvements and fixing bugs.

  • Implement a block on the marketing website based on provided Figma designs.

  • Build a new feature for the documentation website.

  • Take a full Figma mock and implement an entire marketing webpage, adding subtle and engaging effects.

  • Develop a small interactive game for the marketing website to drive engagement.

  • Refactor the websites to support a light theme option.

  • Update the footer and header across marketing and documentation sites to match the new design.

  • Configure a website analytics dashboard (PostHog) to answer key marketing questions.

  • Develop a custom forms component to replace third‑party form widgets, ensuring consistent design and flexibility.

Months 3–6

  • Implement a new component for the product design system

  • Build a new multi-page website section

  • Develop an interactive tutorial to illustrate key Antithesis concepts

  • Learn, apply, and improve testing for the marketing and documentation websites

  • Refine and enhance marketing automations

  • Implement a new product view based on provided mocks and product brief
